A Lifetime of Elgin Pride

Stephanie Lippke is running for Mayor because she believes Elgin deserves a leader who puts citizens first. As a fifth-generation resident, her commitment to our city is deeply personal. She's spent years advocating for fiscal accountability and smart growth, ensuring that the Elgin we love remains a vibrant, community-led home for generations to come.

Experience That Counts

Stephanie’s career and community work are defined by a singular focus: protecting the future of Elgin through accountability and principled leadership.

Community Advocacy

Stephanie has spent over a decade as Elgin’s foremost advocate for fiscal accountability, fearlessly asking the hard questions that others won’t. Her relentless push for transparency has transformed her from a concerned resident into a trusted watchdog for the community’s tax dollars.

Professional Background

Her work for the Elgin Independent School District, Manor Independent School District and Austin Community College have shown her firsthand how important it is to foster a strong community for young families and the next generation, and that's what inspires her to serve.

Academic Foundation

A Stephen F. Austin State University alumna, Stephanie holds a B.A. in Communications and Sociology. This dual expertise allows her to bridge the gap between City Hall and the public — translating complex government data into clear information while addressing the social needs of a rapidly expanding Elgin.

A Multi-Generational Commitment

As a proud graduate of Elgin High School and a mother to daughters who followed in those same footsteps, Stephanie understands that Elgin isn't just a dot on a map — it is a lifelong home that she is determined to protect and improve for the next generation.

Voices of Elgin

"Stephanie is cut from the  same cloth ... “If it’s not right it is wrong, and if it’s wrong you’ve got to make it right”. That is why we support Stephanie for Mayor, because she wants to make it right!"

"I wouldn’t have had the confidence to run for city council without her encouragement and belief in me. That kind of leadership—lifting others up and putting the community first—is exactly why she has my full support."
